Sorry. i posted on mr. patrick blog so that is why this post is so late

1. How does advertising influence consumption?
- Advertising are visual images which lead people to do something. The goal of any advertisement is to have your product or service consumed, therefore advertising is created for the attraction purpose.
2. Do you think citizens are sufficiently informed about the sustainability of our consumption habits? If not, how can we become more informed about sustainability issues?
- No, i don't think so. When the advertiser showe us the products, they should inform us more about the products like the negative thins. And we could inform sustainability issues by showing poster or talk about on the TV or the newsletter.

3. Do you think these advertising techniques influence what you and your friends purchase?
- Of course, their purpose is to convince us to buy the products. And they would use lots of different ideas to show the products in the advertising. We want the products so we need to spend the money to buy it.

            One of my friend’s father couldn’t find a job in Vietnam. He had no job and he couldn’t raise his family here. He was forced to relocate to a new region, which was China, to find a job that has a high salary. They moved for push factors because they had a very low amount of money to live on so they had to immigrate to anther place to live. They had an external migration, because they exit Vietnam. China is not their homeland; they had to immigrate to another country.

           

            There were some positive and negative effects when they immigrated. The negative effects were that they don’t want to live in China; instead they were forced to move. They were possibly miserable in the first few weeks. Chinese is not their first language; therefore they had to learn a very difficult language. When my friend immigrated, he benefited better education. Another bad effect was that they didn’t have many friends because they had to learn Chinese to interact with different people. But the positive effects were that they could learn a new culture, their family can be half Vietnamese and half Chinese. They also could learn a new tradition, language and also religion.

Pepsilania

My country is Pepsilania, there are 2 region in pepsilania. Fire and Ice land, they are not the same. Fire land people like to do exercise, the temperature is up to 43 degree. There are a huge problem is people don’t want to built there house against the volcanoes. So by time, the lands turn into a big desert. So most of the fire land is cover in desert, scientist believe that the desert will expand and soon there will be no more live on the planet. Ice land people don’t do much because it to cold outside. There are not much animal in ice land. The ice land is up to -20 degree, so the animal can’t stand the cold. People in both lands can easily have pepsi water because they are surrounded by the Pepsi Ocean. So people live near the ocean. There are wars going on in the Fire Land, so the people were forced to move into the Ice Land. People start to live a new life in the ice land and they are waiting for the war to be over.

Mother Nature

1. The climate of the earth is changing
2. -Reluctant: When someone doesn't want to do something for another person.
    - Worsen: make something worse
    - Torrential rain: A big and hard rain
    - Variation: A change
3. Weather can happen anytime, anywhere like rain but climate only happen about 2 or 3 years and it happen in different region. Weather can change but climate isn't so changeable.

Human/Environment Interaction:


- The people around the pepsilania can easily have pepsi water because they are surrounded by the Pepsi ocean. The Pepsi Ocean had lot of sugar deep down so it makes the ocean taste sweet. So the people in pepsilania live near the ocean to get the water to drink and to do different things in the country like: feed the animal, give the water for the pepsi tree.



Movement:

- Because in the North West and North East, there are a war going on. The Coca-Cola and the star buck coffee army is invading pepsilania to take over the pepsi land. So the people can't stand the invasion, the invasion also brought more pollution to their land, so they together form up a pepsi army to fight back. So there are war all over the fire land, the people had to move to the ice land to survive. They also had to leave their house for the military forces. People start to live a new life in the ice land and they are waiting for the war to be over.



Region:

- There are 2 region in pepsilania, there are fire land and also ice land. This 2 land had to different culture and they are not the same. The fire land is very hot and 1/3 of the fire land is desert. People built there house away from the desert and the volcanoes. Fire land had different animals like cheetah, lion, kangaroo, and snake. People in the fire land work and exercise a characteristic like there are Ice Mountains. People in the ice land usually stay at home because is so cold. People harvest foods and drink like pepsi tree. They harvest pepsi drink from the pepsi tree. Some places in the ice land break down because they can't take the sun energy. And the sun energy break down the glacier



Places:

- Pepsilania physical characteristics is rivers and mountains. Places around the Ice Mountains are tall. The fire land had lot desert because nobody want to built their house against the volcanoes so by time. The land had no one want eventually turn them-self into a big desert in the center of the fire land and it keeps getting bigger by time.



Location:

-My map longitude got up to about 70 and the latitude is 120. So 1 cm in the map equal 350 km in the real life. For example: the mountain in the center of ice land, it location in the 30 degree north and 80 degree East.

What i learn after the presentation?

I learn a lot after the presentation. I got to know more about my friends, how my friends family tree, their culture, the traditional foods and clothes, and the most important is i learn about who they are. i learn things that i never know about, like my friends: Peter and johnny. I never know that their parents are chinese too, I also learn about their culture. The Ao Dai, and their traditional foods like pho. I really enjoy doing the presentation, i got a chance to learn more about who i am, and about my friends too. It was a good idea.

Hong Kong

Hong kong is a place that u should go once in your life time, it great, it beautiful, and hk is good for shopping too!! Hong kong mountain is in the north and south, aroung hk is the ocean. Hk had 4 seasons, spring is the time when people get new year money and gamble, summer is about 3 months of 32-39 degrees, fall is a bit cooler, winter people just stay home wear more clothes. Hk people usually sleep at 1 to 2 o'clock at the morning !! Hong Kong had a beautiful ocean where one side is clear water for swimming and a far away side for shipping, both are near the airport!! People in hk go to work more and sleep at a very late time!! If u can go anywhere in the world, u should try hong kong !!
